2007.05.15 - Black Noise engine

Most Wanted Entertainment proudly present our next-generation engine technology, 'Black Noise'. Black Noise (currently supporting
XBox 360 and PC) was primarily built to be the basis of the studio's upcoming 3rd person title but it is also perfectly suitable
for sustaining first person shooters as well as isometric strategy/RPG games.

"We have been working hard on Black Noise since Most Wanted was founded and we think we can be proud of what has been achieved so
far. While Black Noise sports all the core features of a contemporary engine, it is much more than that: a comprehensive developer
environment, an innovative technology rivaling the leading systems of today. The developer environment (called 'Architect')
embraces quite a few editors and tools, from material creation, through setting AI parameters, level editing, to level editing.
Games built on Black Noise can run inside the editor without having to load it in. In addition, our technology offers some unique
solutions as well which speed up the process of level building to a great extent."
Main Features:
- PC and Xbox-360 platform
- Full DirectX10 and DirectX9 support
- Support of 64 bit processors
- Support of multicore processors/systems
- Built-in physics system (Ageia PhysX, software- and hardware support)
- Ragdoll system and cloth simulation
- Physics-based particle system with soft particles
- Post processing effects - bloom, high dynamic range, depth of field
- Realtime lighting and shadows
